Will i be able to upgrade to windows phone 7 mango?

i need a new phone, looking at the windows 7 phone. but i dont want to get it and then mango comes out and im already out dated. Will i be able to freely download Windows phone 7 Mago if i buy a windows phone 7 now?|||All Windows Phone devices will be able to update to Mango for free.
