How can I turn on the microphone in the Windows XP Phone dialer?

Although the microphone was OK in the testing procedure of windows XP Phone dialer but I am not able to talk with it. My voice is not transferred to the phone. My microphone is OK.|||I believe you need a full duplex sound card for that. Maybe your sound card is the culprit.
